I turned down doing the Pelicans because of how cold it is. You're nuts lol

Absolutely, but my buddy asked if I wanted to go so I figured why the hell not. We were only outside long enough to lose feeling in our feet, so it wasn't too bad, haha. Probably won't go back 'til it warms up, though. Have a lot of stuff to get done...

I didn't do the WWE event in Canton because of the weather. How is it graphing down there in CBus? I may try a hockey game or two and would like to know what its like

Haven't made my way to doing any NHL hotels yet, but tonight was pretty much a crapshoot. Freezing cold weather, a blow-out loss, and only two of us 'graphing didn't lead to much since the players have to stop their cars to sign (and a lot of them ride together). Johansen is awesome, though. If you have any questions, drop me a PM. I'd be happy to help out.

Huge post coming here off a great day...

If you've followed my thread for a few years, you'll notice that I go Twins Spring Training camp every year, or at least I have for the last couple years. Had some great experiences, got some cool signatures, all that good stuff.

This year was no different, but I went with high hopes to add Byron Buxton's signature to my collection since I don't think I'll get the opportunity to see him play in AA or AAA this year. Disappointingly, though, it seems like Byron Buxton has almost completely shut down his signing habits already, even before making AA ball. More stories after the haul and scans...

    Jason Kubel 1/1 Twins 8x10
    Michael Tonkin 1/1 Twins 8x10
    Matt Hoffman 1/1 Twins 8x10
Kennys Vargas 1/1 Twins Prospect 8x10
Darin Mastroianni 1/1 Twins Prospect 8x10
    Ryan Presley 1/1 Twins Postcard
    Logan Darnell 1/1 Twins Postcard
Eddie Guardado 2/2 Twins 4x6, Twins Postcard
    Jared Burton 2/2 Cards
    Aaron Hicks 1/2 Card
    Alex Meyer 1/1 Card
    Ricky Nolasco 2/2 Cards
    Tony Oliva 1/1 Card
    Mike Pelfrey 2/2 Cards
    Miguel Sano 1/1 Card
    Joe Mauer 1/1 8x10!
    Byron Buxton 1/2 8x10!

Wow, lots of scans...what a great time with some great autographs. Couple cool stories/notes to add on here, just because it's fun to share.

The first Twins 8x10 (Kubel, Tonkin, Hoffman) isn't scanned because it's pretty empty. The big Twins logo is a little prospect project of decent guys that I've been adding guys to throughout the last year. Other guys on it include Meyer, Rosario, Baxendale, etc. Pretty cool.

My mom got the Twins postcard signed because she's really cool. Definitely adds some cool memories to my autograph collection.

Signing autographs is a complete game for Tony Oliva...good luck if you're ever dealing with him.

I finally got Joe Mauer! Been carrying that 8x10 around for three years now and just haven't caught a break. He signed maybe a dozen autograph on Monday (when I was there), and I was just in the right place at the right time. Psyched to finally add him to my collection.

And, of course, Byron Buxton! The #1 autograph I wanted to add to my collection this baseball season, and I got it in February. I showed up early (eight in the morning) and there were only a few non-Twins at the complex. After Buxton hit in the cages before practice, he came over and signed for each of the seven or eight of us that were there. I had Tweeted him the night before (sometimes that helps) and when Bux signed my photo, he looked up at me and said, "You sent me a Tweet last night...happy to help out." What an awesome experience and an awesome photo! But from what I've heard, he hasn't been signing a whole lot...in fact, he shut it down and only signed about three coming in from practice. Thrilled to have him, though!

Sorry for the long post and excessive scans, but it's my thread and I can do what I want. If I forgot anything, I'll add it to the thread...needless to say, I have a freaking blast.

One of the stores I get most of my Ohio State autographs at had a signing today; Bradley Roby, Jack Mewhort, CJ Barnett, and Christian Bryant were there. Didn't need Mewhort, didn't want Barnett, and absolutely hate Roby, so I paid $8 and got Christian Bryant to sign for me. Fortunately, it was on my way because I wouldn't have gone out of my way for this...

Turned out pretty sweet, so I'm definitely happy with it. Hoping to get Ryan Shazier on it too since he changed to #2 after Bryant went down with his Ohio State career-ending injury. I'm a fan.
