KSA is garbage, check out this 9 I bought on eBay.. Lucky if it's a 3 (Check out the top left corner, there's a scuff there that has been touched up with a blue pen).. I wouldn't sent a Pro Set card to get graded by those guys..

I get that this isn't a KSA Pro/Con thread but I just wanted to show that you're not the only one who isn't happy with their graded card from KSA..

    Maybe it's the same seller..

I always viewed KSA as a 2nd tier grading company and now that we can get BGS cards graded in Canada via COMC I do not send anymore cards to be graded at KSA. I view KSA as a BCCG and would not pay premium for a High Grade KSA card that's for sure. When it comes to grading it's BGS # 1 (Because of their "tamper proof holders") and PSA #2 (never trusted their holders as being tamper proof)

It's the same card. I cracked it out of the PSA slab and brought it in raw to the KSA guy, he had no clue what the original grade was.

88sluggo - I didn't say they can't grade, just saying that they do not have the reputation or consistency that a PSA or BVG; these are massive companies with many graders, not just a one man show (or two).

This is very true! I like getting my stuff done in person though (I'm lucky I live where I live) the grader-guy explains things to me as he's going along :)

I woudn't put a buck to get card graded by KSA. I've seen them in shows in mtl where they would garantee a grade to a guy if he would grade x number of cards!
