Drew;
You might be hitting the nail on the head.
In this business world we live in, licensors and manufacturers cannot conspire against another company.
Perhaps Leaf's lawsuit will enlighten us on what really went on.
One of my big objections was Kevin Issacson not giving me the courtesy of a reply after ITG supported him for the past four years.
No excuse for that.
I don't put anything past the NHLPA.

it's clear to me that it was initiated either the league, player association or manufacturer and that the other agreed. Now, from witch instance it come from, maybe the law suit will tell us. But like Dr. Price pointed out, the lack of communication from the person organizing the event is sad to see but I guess their lawyer advise them to not respond to not give any lawsuit material. But in the business world, money talk...

I can't read this thread without sharing my opinion.
This is not the best method to go about this. Very untactful, and obviously not politically correct.
There are some people I choose not to respond to, I sure hope they aren't publicly calling me out on forums because of it. I highly doubt they are, they most likely just move on. If they came at me in this method, I would guarantee they would be on my black list for eternity.Last edited by 13stepper; 02-21-2014 at 08:33 PM.

What method should he have taken that he hadn't already?

Yeah.......but. This isn't a two-person type of deal-io, it's a THING. And it's not just limited to ITG either, Leaf has the lawsuit going on which Beckett has publicized.
If everyone who was ever screwed over just shut up and kept it to themselves then nothing would ever get fixed. You have to take it to the people! Or else Rosa Parks would still be riding the back of the bus and the British would still be ruling India! Yes, OVERSTATEMENT!!!!

That's a very good point. Once there is a lawsuit in the system, the parties will refer any questions or inquiries to their legal team. We may be outraged that an e-mail was not returned, but the Summit people may be following their lawyers advice. That said, a simple "Got your message and I'm sorry but I can't comment right now" would go a long way.Hidden Content

I would imagine they have the right to invite/not allow whomever they want. Theoretically its no different than some toolbag who owns a site about collecting hockey cards not allowing/banning people from the site because he disagrees with their opinions on petty subjects. One of those opinions being the sanctity of ITG cards. I am not referring to ITG or Mr. Price btw. This stuff goes on all over the place. Is it right, no. Is it worth losing sleep over, not really. There are other means to get things done, but it can be frustrating sometimes.

Yup. Had he done that, this thread would be in poor taste. He couldn't even do that, then a public calling out is in order.

What a way to jump on a band wagon guys. You are quick to jump on ITG's side without knowing anything from the other side, but that seems to be the standard...kiss ITG ™™™.
My personal opinion is that this is just an attention grab from Mr. Price as Leaf has just lost the temporary restraining order forcing the summit to allow them. Dr Price and Brian Gray are compatriots as can be seen by the fact that Dr. Price spends more time in the Leaf/Benchwarmers booth at most events than he does at his own, as well as the selling off of Famous Fabrics to Leaf.
Brian, have you tried calling him? You make no reference to calls, just emails.
Calling someone out in public will not make them want you at their event and may prevent others from wanting you at theirs.
