I know there was a thread on here talking about print run , is it too high/low yadda yadda. Just want to give my opinions on it.

It is a waste of money in my eyes. Why you ask?
I pulled a tarasenko auto out of the product, one of the better autos that you can get beside mackinnon,yakupov. And I cant get over the fact that it only sells about for the price of 4-5 packs. I have mentioned ive never been a fan of the incredibly high print run of /999. Which is overkill. But please upper deck. If your going to make a price of a box so ridiculously high, please do something to off set the value of buying a box. All these buybacks dont help too. People dont want cards from other years. They are buying 13-14. Not 10-11 or 12-13. Dont pull an anthology (which I think is a way better product for the price). Rookies you made to /1299 will easily be found in 50 cent boxes in a year. DONT GET ME STARTED ON A POOP LOADS OF REDEMPTIONS TOO. How long did you have to make this product? Especially with delays? Leaving out people who deserve autographs instead putting the same people you know who dont want to sign on time instead. Horrible wont be buying anymore. Dont care how nice they look (which they do)
They only thing I think they did right was no putting a crosby autograph in. Its nice to see him not in a set. His autographs are becoming overproduced. Doesnt need one in every set. However it doesnt help you overload gretzky autos again. Put value in other cards except the hof

Packs are $12 at my LCS...be happy to get $50-60 for my tarasenko..

Half the cards are of players not on teams anymore, feels like the product is years old.

You can get Hertl for probably $40 if not less...That's YG territory...

R and p specialty sport cards in rockaway. Alot of good prices. Spa boxes are $115 or $6 a pack, I usually get about 7 packs upper deck for $20. Anthology packs are $10. Doesnt sell a whole lot of hockey, as im the only one that buys it lol. Does alot more baseball amd football. Its the only card store remotely by me unless I drive to morris knolls or Lyndhurst which is an hour away

With the amount of product that they produce of it. Its not going to ever dry up. There is just to much of it.

Are people really that surprised about the re-sale value? Are you busting boxes simply to flip, or busting for enjoyment. Tarasenko selling for about 1/3 of a box ..... pretty decent IMO.

SP Authentic has been somewhat weak box / case break wise since after the lockout ...... minus 06/07.

Its funny how people think Upper Deck should take responsibility / even look at the secondary market value of their singles.

Of course they should - they should be a visible hand and artificially inflate prices to make flippers happy. Busted a case and disappointed that your Gallagher Future Watches only hit $40? Upper Deck is here to shill that bad boy up to $80!
