I purchased this pageau http://www.ebay.ca/itm/301194852350?...84.m1439.l2649 and haven't received it yet, contacted seller and he's said he will either refund or remeburse me with a card of higher value. really sucks as now i dont get my pageau :(.

won 2 cards on ebay hoping to save a little money on shipping.
seller actually calls me on my phone and tells me he can't figure out the invoicing to get both cards on one invoice and i should just pay him through paypal......
this sounds very very sketchy to me....... what should i do at this point

It's probably the truth, he had one card listed on Ebay.com and one on Ebay.ca. If he sends you an invoice on paypal that is fine and 100% safe just make sure you pay as goods and it shows what your paying for.

Tell him to look at the send Invoice page, it tells you to include other auctions.
Now if he is unable to do that, tell him to make the shipping on one auction a combined shipping price, and to delete the figures for the 2nd shipping.
Too many sellers do no realize that all numbers can be deleted for all invoices and 0.00 added when it comes to additional shipping.
If he cannot figure this out, he should not be selling.

He's just trying to save himself the Ebay fees. I would do the deal on paypal if you can and ask for a better price.

This happened to me 2 weeks ago as a seller. This is the first time I realized you cannot combine .ca and .com purchases.
Anyway, I did not just ask buyer to pay by paypal. I simply sent 2 different eBay invoices, one for each card.
-Card #1 price plus $3 shipping
-then altered the shipping on the second invoice (as mentioned above by centrehice) Card #2 price plus $0.50 shipping
Then I can ship the cards in the one bubble mailer.
It is a pain I guess for the buyer to pay twice, but the amounts are correct and it is done legitimately.Hidden Content

maybe i'll just say screw it. i'm only losing on 2 dollars. save myself this headache. glad i only bought 2 cards from this guy.

Well you get 100 free on ebay.com and 100 free on ebay.ca. So it saves you Ebay fees even tho there's a new promotion every other week. You can make all your items globally seen if you do your ad correctly. (Do international shipping options) It even says it will be seen on all sites.
