I just want to know what specifically you found interesting about it. It's a simple question that an educated person should be able to answer on the first try. You told me why you posted it (you found it interesting). I want to know WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT. If you can't answer this, why would you post it in the first place? You answered a different question and avoided answering the ACTUAL QUESTION since. Why can't you answer?
WHAT ABOUT THIS IS INTERESTING AJ? YOU HAVE NOTHING SO FAR.

I found this interesting: http://www.esquire.com/blogs/news/redskin-name-update
Yes, A 'Redskin' Does, In Fact, Mean the Scalped Head of a Native American, Sold, Like a Pelt, for Cash
Mostly because it's on topic and isn't about a NASCAR story.

You couldn't fulfill my day, believe me.
Nice to see you admit you posted it for no reason whatsoever.
Next time veg just posts a link, you won't say anything? That's pretty much what you did. A post with no reason.

does that matter? If a term turns into a racial slur it doesn't matter what it's origin is all that much. Yes it's part of the history of the word, but it's still used in a negative light.

Sure it matters, to know history helps us not to repeat our mistakes. It also shows that humans can and do ruin everything, including words. It also shows how we can take a term that has both good and bad connotations and just be able to see the bad. Which we all know, seek and ye shall find, look for the bad and you will see it.
