Florida Governor Delays Debate Over A Fan

Not over a fan as in a person who is a fan...an actual electric fan. Idiots. They are everywhere.

Scott and Crist both totally suck. Are the Democrats so pathetic in Florida that they have to run a guy who was the Republican governor in the past as their candidate for 2014? I mean Scott pretty much has to run for the Republicans since he is the sitting gov but the Democrats could have picked somebody good to crush him. Instead we have a toss up between two losers.

As a person who actually lives in FL... Crist wasn't a horrible governer.. he's just reaaaaallly odd as a person lol. "moderate" no longer exists in the republican party and crist is the perfect example of that.

As for good dems on FL... yes, we have many, just none you probably know of nationally. Robert Wexler (my former congressmen and the first person I ever voted for) is not only a great democrat, but would make an incredible president. Unfortunately he got so sick of Washington BS that he quite congress and now works in the private sector and has no plans to run for office again. I would love to see him run for governor one day.

Small notes on Rick Scott... he may be the most openly corrupt politician I have ever seen. He's the largest medicare fraud in history lol.. couldn't make that up if I tried.

The guy openly wants to ban medical marijuana, is against marriage equality, refuses to accept obama care funding (even Mitch McConnell recently admitted its working), and toes every extreme republican line there is. Yet somehow people north of Orlando still like this creep.. I do not get it.

Wow, this tells me everything I need to know about you. If conservatives use this type of wide brush to paint a whole group of people, there would be a full ambush from the libs, but you libs get away with this reverse discrimination all the time.

I live in Florida too, and I get to vote too, and I will have my ID when I go, and I will wear the little sticker they give me when I'm done, and I will thank the volunteers that give up their time to record votes and yes, I will vote for Rick Scott because he is the lesser of two evils which is the way it pretty much goes in politics these days.

There was never any such thing as a moderate in the Republican party. A Republican candidate that is pro-abortion, anti-gun rights, pro-increased taxation, anti-immigration enforcement and pro-increased social welfare spending is not a moderate, he/she is a Democrat that can't get elected by their own party so he/she switched to the Republican party to try and get in office that way.

Mitt Romney is a prime example of this. He was never a Democrat that I am aware of, but he is as much Democrat as anyone. He pushed through a social welfare health care system, sees the working man's income as government tax dollars, jumped on the "go after the rich people" bandwagon,

I also find the double-standard that libs apply to politicians to be laughable. When a Republican is strong in his conservative convictions he is an "extreme Republican" and a horrific person. If a Democrat is strong in their liberal convictions to the point of being equally leftist fanatical as the Republican is to the right, you guys elect them president, name them Senate Majority Leader or appoint them Majority/Minority Leader of the House and praise them for their non-stop extremist anti-American agenda. The term "double-standard" simply doesn't do the hypocrisy of it enough justice.

Just so you don't romanticize Wexler too much, HE LEFT TO MAKE A HECK OF LOT MORE MORE MONEY!

Today he announced that he's resigning after 19 years in Congress to head a Washington think tank called the Center for Middle East Peace & Economic Cooperation, founded by Slim-Fast founder S. Daniel Abraham.

That's great that you can vote... you get to a vote for a person trying to limit you ability to do so as much as possible, limiting your personal rights as much as possible, while trying to pass legislation that will take money out of your pocket and give it to "small business" like burger king and wal mart. You enjoy that vote sir.

Yes.. nearly all congressmen that willingly leave congress do so for $$$. Cynical one's don't run again after their first term in fact; just so they can become lobbyists. Mr. Wexler left in the height of the tea party mess because of the grid lock the republican party was creating. Mitch McConnell openly admitted to "blocking the presidents agenda" to create an atmosphere of gridlock he thought he would capitalize on. Wexler left when he realized that was going on. I have met the man and lived not far from him in Coral Springs... he's a great guy and would make an incredible president one day.

I'm not branding anything.. I have been to northern FL lol.. everything north of the I4 corridor is more or less Alabama / Mississippi / Louisiana. The further south you go in FL the more "north" you actually are. It's not a stereotype if you have experienced it my friend.

***Just to clarify... there are liberal / progressive minded people in every corner of the world. They just exist far less in places like northern fl, and the deep south.
