    You didn't answer the question.

well i could say it was so dumb it is not worth answering, but I won't.

but here is your answer, yes, I and every male were born with the desire and need to reproduce with the opposite sex.

You dodged the question as well. You ding Jay for his statement that it is a choice, yet you totally ignore that your position that it is not a choice is just as flawed. You are no more correct than he is. Some choose it, some feel that way their entire life.

And yes I know there are more than two sexual choices.

Those are titles, not gender definitions. Try to focus. Calling an obvious man a woman's name or vice versa because they want to be called that is absolutely nothing like calling someone by a different surname that was changed legally based on marital status.

What question did I dodge? I never claimed that people are born either gay or straight. If that was your question, I answered it by suggesting that there are more than just those two options. I never claimed that NOBODY ever chooses it, so my position cannot be just as flawed as Jay's since that isn't my position.

If you are going to waste time arguing against my position, at least get it right.

So how old were you when you chose to like little Suzie over little Ben? How long did you debate it in your head?

no debate needed, it is how nature works. just like I need to be able to suckle as an infant to survive, I need to be able to reproduce as an adult for humanity to survive.

I crack up with the liberal responses of "did you choose to like females". The facts are that natural selection makes us need to reproduce. the facts are, our environment can change the nature of how we were suppose to work.

we can argue innate or not all day, because there are no facts to support either side. so instead of using logic to determine our opinion we try to cause an argument based on things that cannot be proven.

    people are not innately homosexual.

in fact in you want to be a jerk about it, your theory means; being that we need to reproduce to survive, and we must do that with the opposite sex, then if someone is born gay, it is unnatural. thus there is something wrong with them.

if you go by my theory, and it is choice, then they are normal people who make different choices.

so are you going to start saying homosexuals need treatment for their unnatural behaviors?
    didn't think so.

    didn't think so.

First, it is not how ALL nature works. Second, being attracted to the same sex doesn't limit one's ability to reproduce for survival of the species. Third, you agreed with my comment on being born with different anatomies and different sexual identities but somehow being born with different attractions is not logical?

Your theory suggests that gay teenagers that commit suicide choose to be ostracized or die over a behaviour they can simply choose to change. Who's being a jerk? Your theory, is full of holes and completely ignores the testimony of those who live it day to day.

My "theory" allows for every different lifestyle ever lived. From the Anne Haches of the world, to the 5 year old that believes they are a different gender, to the hermaphrodite, to the teenage suicide victim feeling ashamed of how they truly are. It's logical and generally accepted by anyone who has studied the subject.

So no, I am not going to say homosexuals need treatment. I am more enlightened than the mindset of the ignorant.

Seriously? You seriously ask what question you dodged? The VERY FIRST sentence in my response asked if you think people are born gay or straight. It even ended with a question mark (one of these >>> ?) which makes it blatantly obvious it was a question. Instead of answering the question you DODGED it by going off on a tangent about how many sexualities there are. This is the problem with people like you. You want to argue that everyone else is wrong and you are right, but you lack the spine to actually state your position.

I didn't dodge that question. I called you out on it for stating it as my position in the form of a question. And I replied to it by suggesting people are born with ALL kinds of sexual orientations.

That wasn't going off on a tangent. If you pay attention you can see that it is an answer to your misinformed question.

My position is clear, and stated several times in this thread. Maybe if you stopped to read what is wrote, rather than responding to what you wish I wrote, you would understand it better.

And for the record; YES, I AM RIGHT, and you are WRONG. Deal with it for once.

teenagers commit suicide for many reasons and just because you can change does not mean you should.

the testimony of those who live it day to day? what in your talk shows, or the media we know it so accurate and has no agenda?
how many gave relatives and friends do you have? how many to you interact with on a daily basis? how many do you vacation with? help move? have over to play cards?
what are your observations made on? other peoples observations?

I suppose my cousin, who is 30, magically changed from dating guys to girls because of genetics? and when asked now, she only dates other females, who I just happened to help move them in together.

or would that be our best friends, who have been together for over 15 years now, both were married to the opposite sex and one even had a kid, but they are now in a committed homosexual relationship. I suppose that is genetic and not a choice. I could go on, but considering that they don't live it day to day, what would they know.

you are not born gay, your choices may scare you and may make you at odds with others, but stand by them.

You are right by "suggesting" without actually stating your position or expressing your belief on the subject...awesome. You are a typical liberal.
