You could buy a go pro for cheaper than that...
The problem with the federal government getting involved is the word federal government. A $1000 now costs $2000. (Obummer said he was pledging millions of dollars for 50k cameras last year after the whole Ferguson deal)

@Aj, please save your PMs....
You call me a coward for "hiding" behind a computer screen, you obviously don't know that that one of the points of the Internet is that people like to stay anonymous.
Furthermore, I'm sure as hell not about to release my personal information to some random guy on the Internet who thinks that because I use the liberty of anonymity this makes me a coward when he is also doing the same thing.
I got no problems talking about most topics, I've asked you before about God and whatnot, you're the one that has been reserved on that topic, so I find it strange that you call me a coward when I'm freely opening up.
I don't see the point of doing this in PMs, you want to have a debate on God, religion, or whatever, then let's do it.
I promise to be respectful and not make any jokes within the debate, and I'm not even looking to "win" the debate either, just to be able to share information and knowledge.

@Duane, please spare me the nonsense.
The point I'm making is that the U.S can afford billions upon billions of dollars on their military, they beat the next 10 countries or so COMBINED with this bill....
But you can't put a camera on cops???
It's 2015, this isn't something THAT expensive....if ALL cop cars have dashboard cameras why not cops themselves?
Why are they so against it?
Do your God damn job correctly and you got nothing to be afraid of....just like how I and millions of other Americans are filmed at their jobs.

@so called logical alex. You issued the invite sir I accepted. I was looking for a discussion that can become a debate. Why clog these threads with off topic issue. I will gladly tell you where I am located and gladly sit to discuss anything you want to if you will do the same. But please don't send out an invite if your not going to honor it. It just shows how much of a phoney you are. Now if you are a man then honor up your words and back them up. Now let us get back to the thread anything else can be settled pm. Nice try son but you need to step up your trapping game.

It is a shame Usama OOOPS I mean Obama cannot come up with funding for these cameras for police forces like he did for healthcare and other of his wastes. I mean with this epidemic and considering Trayvon was like his youht ( I know not killed by a cop) and Michael Brown was such a pillar of the community why not look into this nationwide? But I can agree cameras as long as they do not hinder the officers job duties. It can be done but the o mighty dollar is the question

@AJ, as if you'd really travel hundreds of miles to meet up with someone you know nothing about....
There's no need to clog this thread, make a new thread, call it "The great God debate" or something....like I said I'll be respectful, no jokes.
You know what...I'll do it...

I travel a lot you would be surprised. Just say look I was talking out my backside and did not mean it. Of course I cannot meet you face to face that would spoil the gimmick. But if you tell me what area your in it might be among my travels this summer as I have some places to go on the east coats and west a bit. As far as a debate I guess if you start a thread and it is in the right area I will gladly participate.

The Federal governemnt is not the same as state and local. the feds are not footing the bill, local taxpayers are.
I think the cameras are a great idea, but we will need to find the money to implement them. as duane pointed out there are many costs factors included in the purchase of cameras.

I hate this federal vs state thing.
The States are NOT their own countries, the federal government still has control over ALL states, and if they passed a bill that said ALL cops MUST wear cameras, that's the end of that.

Yeah, the way you talk behind your keyboard where there are no repercussions for your actions.
If you are over the age of 15 and are still dropping F Bombs you should consider growing up.
Not buying any of the crap that you are spewing about your use of GD.
