The officiating this series is absolutely pathetic. Pens deserved to lose that game but come on. The powerplay numbers are so lopsided its not like the rangers are angels.
A blatant hook on Lapierre he loses the puck Rangers go down and score. That was an obvious call to make.
And then Rangers interfere with us all day long and nothing is called. We dump the puck and we cant get there casue there interfering with us. Also in front of the net like you said. You have to call it both ways.Flickr: Hidden Content

Fact that it's a game winning goal, odd bounce off the boards included, really stinks.
Thought that Pens were playing pretty crappola for 40 minutes. They couldn't even dump the puck into the zone properly (so many turnovers where the Pens player tossed the puck right to the NYR dmen before going for a change). That said, NYR were got away with a lot of stick holds/minor infractions that refs sometimes let go. Pens can win this series. I hope Pens see that, pull it together, and win the next 3 games. lol
edit: Malkin really isn't 100% and it's sad since he usually plays very well against the RangersLast edited by the_nange; 04-21-2015 at 12:09 PM.

They can win the series still. I think Buffalo would have played better than the pens did for the first 50 minutes of that game. Officiating isn't why the pens are down in the series its their play but when you get 0 calls it doesn't help.
I was able to get 2 $35 student rush tickets for college students for next game so I am really excited.

Yeah, those penalties kill any momentum and give NYR momentum. Also keeps Crosby and Malkin off the ice regularly so they can't get going. And I'm jealous of your tickets. $35 bucks for a playoff game is insane.

Its a sweet thing they do. In regular season they are $27. They are very hard to get its just basically luck. (They may also do it to keep the consecutive sellout streak alive too)

That Comeau penalty wasn't a penalty against the Rangers last game. Just saying.

Anybody else finding tonight's game boring, it doesn't even feel like a playoff game to be tied 1-1 after 2 periods, hopefully the 3rd period brings some entertainment.

At least the overtime was quick and painless, HAYES WITH THE WINNER 2-1, 3-1 COMMANDING SERIES LEAD.

What a terribly officiated series. I'm just going to leave it at that since they weren't calling both sides, but one side was sure doing a heck lot more grabbing and interfering.
And Mike Johnston played Crosby around 5 minutes in the 2nd period I think. ™™™ are you doing dude?Last edited by the_nange; 04-22-2015 at 10:02 PM.
