Same boat as you as I haven't seen a Price Black Ice for a while either. But wow are they ever pretty cards eh?

I like the new parallel additions, and of course the Trophy Talents means some spiffy new Carey Price cards!

I'm searching for a Kyle Turris Black Ice to complete my rainbow. Personally pulled the Golden Treasure.

Looked at the pictures again, I'm disappointed that the Retro cards will just be shiny versions of the regular OPC retro set.

Looks like the Rookie cards are also just shiny versions of the regular OPC set. Last year, they made the rookies the same design as the base set.

Guess I have to wait and see what they look like in person. Hard to capture the subtle shiny designs in photos.

Everything is overproduced this year, it's not even funny. Reminds me of an article published in September on the Globe and Mail:

A little bit past the halfway mark, you can see that GeorgeChris Carlin from UD said that they had learned from their past mistakes (releasing too many Crosby RC cards which watered the market down) and that McDavid RC's would be much more limited. Of course they did exactly the opposite and added some more on top.
