I can see that this could get addicting.

I wonder if Series 2 e-packs will release the same day as the actual Series 2 release, if it does it could make for some quick COMC flips.

Yup, it shows a picture of the card with the red swatch. So I'd assume I would be getting that exact card shipped to me (I'm going to wait a bit, open a few more packs first before shipping all to me).

Topps has just a digital product in baseball called Topps Bunt or something like that. You can only buy just digital card packs and never get a real physical card. Supposedly that division is more profitable than their real world card production. Don't know if I believe that but if it is true it isn't a shock to see Upper Deck try to one up that and combine digital cards with real cards.

Cell phone games make a ton of money off of micro transaction purchases of digital stuff so this might be the "future" of card collecting. I know we always seem to say that about the next innovation that comes out but digital transactions are an easy money maker for companies now.
