Probably the cheapest way is to buy a small coffee. You get 1 pack for 99 cents and then buy 5 more packs for $1.99 each. Total is around $15 for a coffee and 6 packs of cards. Not a bad deal.

Hmmm that's weird, I remember getting like 2-3 packs last year (I only ordered a couple times) but they always cost $1/pack regardless of how much or how little I ordered on the menu.

Last year the first pack was 99 cents with any order, each pack after that was $1.99

I wish there was a Tim Hortons here in Hawaii. Not just for the cards but the coffee. They are much cheaper than Starbucks. When my wife & I visited Canada we lived on Tim Hortons coffee.

I wish they put a limit on how much you can buy this year. Like, say, a 10-pack price and that's it?

Reason I say this is because these releases should be 100% about the youth, not the collectors who have the income to buy a case of this stuff. Not saying there's anything wrong about buying a case, but when you have a hot product like this, that will sell out quick (especially at a Tim's which is flocked with youth), you need to have it offered to as much kids as possible in my opinion.

I agree but even if they put the limit, judging by some of the listings I saw on eBay after it ended, I'm pretty sure that unopened boxes filled with tonnes of packs make their way through backdoor channels (though the people selling them might not be regular card dealers, possibly just people with a connection to Tim Hortons).

No doubt people would find a way to get their hands on some large quantities, but at least with a strict limit, especially at the start of the promotion, it will give those kids a chance at some cards while this promotion at Tim Hortons is in full force :)

It may be hard to control the backdoor stuff, but the in-store card quantities can be more easily managed. That's what the kids are seeing and have access to, that's what they need to have readily available.
