I want to say @Pheebs888 hit one of the McDavid SP RC's, but I don't know if she still has it. Good luck with your set project!

Of the basic Champs cards #1-#315, the last being McDavid's RC, I am only missing two cards: #203 Pominville and #301 Hart. I never did pull any of the really tough cards at the end of the set #316-#327, however, I am still buying boxes from time to time. LOL @ atruong317's comment.

I have #203 if you want it for just the postage ($1.05), I can send it PWE.

If you want to trade, I'm missing a bunch of the base cards. PM me if you want a list.

Definitely want #203. I have lots of spare base - send me your list and mailing address! :)

Thanks. Yep my wife lets me put together one set every year. In 2005-06 it was Parkhurst, then OPC every year until this year. All old school cardboard-backed cards like when I was a kid in the early 60s. :)

I've started putting together some of the (baseball) sets of my youth for nostalgia sake. I might have to start working on a set a year, like you were saying. I would probably do the OPC myself. I do like Champs though. I've almost gotten all of the Shaw variations for my player collection.

OPC were big sets with all the parallels, wrapper redemptions, subsets, etc. I also collected OPC Platinum even though they were not cardboard-backed because the design is the same as regular OPC and there are hard-signed autos. I switched to Champs this year for three reasons: (1) I like the card design, (2) the set is smaller, and (3) there are no silly manufactured patches and thick picture cards (apologies to those who like them). I don't usually collect memorabilia cards, but I like the same-as-base jersey-card design in Champs so I am collecting them.
