Very true. Never really thought about private collectors having a bidding war on specific game-worn jerseys driving Upper Deck right out of the competition of acquiring it. Still, I would like to see a type of Game-Dated Jersey card of career highlights/milestones. Like I know rookies will keep their '1st Goal' Puck etc but would they keep their jerseys? Even like... 20-30 of these jerseys acquired to make 'Game-Dated' Jersey cards and placed in products through-out the year. Like SPA and Series 2.
I dunno... just brain-storming here of things I would like to see one day. I'm basically talking to myself right now lol.
I would love to see a sub-set of Jerseys worn during a players' Gordie Howe Hat Trick. I think that would be the ultimate sub-set for myself to collect !

I wouldn't mind a deeper checklist for memos and autos. At least, in some lower end releases.

These are great ideas and I love talking about this stuff. That does sound like a great idea! I'm sure UD has thought about stuff like this, but who knows the tough logistics (legal stuff, buying, planning, etc, etc) behind acquiring certain game-dated memorabilia and making up / releasing a small time set like that. Tough task, but that would be really, really cool if done correctly.
And as for their jersey's, I'm sure some players might. I've heard of players having to buy their own gamers. Sure, that happens quite a lot. And some teams have different styles of selling off their game-used gear. Some teams have team sales often, while others don't. So unless you have an exclusive right or contract to the NHL team(s) game-used memorabilia (Upper Deck), then it might be harder to acquire gamers from some teams than others.Last edited by creasecollector; 12-12-2016 at 05:30 PM.

See if they'll talk to the PA about bringing back BAP - that stuff had a ridiculous wide checklist. People hated it because their one auto per pack would be a guy who only ever had autos in BAP. LOL
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Guess they don't want to have a fourth liner defenseman as a jersey card.

BAP was a product that I enjoyed a lot. The ITG version was great, and the UD version wasn't bad too :)
