This is sad to hear, I always try to keep those bubble mailer customs values in the $10-$18 range for just this reason and check off gift. I hope you reconsider, you have provided a lot of PC stuff for me in the past...

Why do you declare the value at 10 to 18 range. Is that the cutoff point. Just wondering as I always check the value as ZERO no matter the value.

No cutoffs, I think this is to eliminate any suspicions about why I am mailing the thing in the first place...this may sound paranoid, I just am afraid of a postal employee opening, or throwing around a "valueless" package....if this is crazy and I should be putting "0" down to prevent these unwanted taxes I need to know....I just feel weird putting "0" down.

Thanks for the reply as I was just trying to educate myself as I do not know it all. I was trying to see if there was a starting point of where one would have to pay dollars on the package.

Just for the record. I have never filled out a customs form when mailing a bubble mailer with 1-5 cards to the US. $2.95 label.

If they ask, I just tell them its documents.

I to never fill out custom declarations when shipping to USA...as long as you I have sent Letter Mail and declared the contents as Printed Matter....no problems ever for years

BUT the issue here is not Canada to USA....But USA to Canada
