Thanks man! Its become the driving factor in my collecting recently.
so i just did the count. To be in the Team Collector Hall of Fame i need a total card count of 5000 Jets. I have 4910! So i am 90 away from that number. There are other sub goals within that 5k that i also have to reach. I will collect 90 Jets of my choice that will lead me into the HOF! I am not sure cause i dont want to cheap out on my collection. I have some subcollections i am looking to build within my one master collection.

I have a few goals myself. My first is to get the one card that my son wants and yep I have one!! But he can't have it. It's the Larry Bird/Magic Johnson RC with Dr. J. Plus pick up some RC's of his two favorite players -- Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry. Not a small order but doable. For me I need to finish up a few sets mostly parallel and insert ones. But then just bolster a few player collections. Nothing huge for me except getting a few more Tom Brady RC's that I don't have.

He's a smart kid; the Black Mamba was a baaaaad man!
I had a literal pile of Kobe's Chrome RCs along with BGS 9.5 and PSA 10s of (1) of each of every one of his individual RC's, along with some auto'd memorabilia and a few true 1/1 autos and Pop 1 BGS 10 card, etc. It was a great collection and I'd love to still be able to have it, but I sold it at a great time and it helped fund some needed and fun purchases ... Kobe was definitely good to me though :-)
I'm not sure if I'll ever buy another Kobe, as now he's so expensive and while I do think his cards will continue to appreciate over the years, I sort of like taking risks on young players that could explode more so than investing in legends who are guaranteed to increase in value but more slowly ... HOWEVER if a company ever creates a true 1/1 triple auto of Kobe/Shaq/Phil Jackson or a dual true 1/1 auto LOGOMAN of Kobe and Shaq I may just have to pull out all the stops to get a card like that!

My 3 goals this year is to 1). Keep the collection growing, 2). Obtain more of the 2015 Museum Collection quad card with Wilson, Lynch, Sherman & Thomas, 3). Have between 200 and 250 Seahawks 1/1's in my collection. I would love to enter the Super Collector Hall of Fame one day. Whether it's just with my Seahawks card collection, or a combination of them with my sports memorabilia collection.

Thank you. It's not really anything too special. Several high caliber autographed memorabilia that I got in person, the rest is your average player and stars that I got all in person. My cards, not anything big money value. I would say more like low to mid end value. I could be wrong though

I stand by my statement ... your collection sounds amazing! Money clouds things ... collecting isn't about a "return on investment", it's about fun and memories and nostalgia and all that good stuff. Don't let an "investor" like me make you think my collection is more impressive than yours as it's not ... your collection is awesome and I miss the days when I just "collected".
Sometimes having a lot of money can actually take the joy out of things honestly ... but don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with my own "investment/collection" too as I at least got to invest in a player I truly like and am having a blast following and watching his games with my son!
Have a great night!
