1) a machine may put the stickers on
2) UD may hire employees that... to put it politely... may not be sports fans at all and have to work so fast that they miss this sort of thing
3) this is an altered card (maybe?)... as others from the 25 in the print run are correct
4) someone at the production facility did it on purpose
5) Wayne Gretzky signed the sticker while in Australia... and intentionally had one / a few of the stickers upside down to have a laugh with UD ;-)
6) the card was printed upside down, and the autograph is correct ;-)

Interesting.... on a few of the spots where the pen goes off the sticker, there are these little ink “spikes”. I have never seen that before.

Tell that to everyone who bought 2020-21 Series 1. Round corners, cards sticking together, damaged cards. Seems like a lot of things get by them,

Yeah, no doubt this was a release they'd like to have back - QC wise. But, to be fair, all releases aren't normally like that.

It's almost like there's a pandemic happening so they're operating at reduced capacity.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
