ZE has some great deals depending on the time of year. They had boxes of this year's extended hobby for $92 and last year's blaster boxes for $12. Couldn't say no.

I just bought 2 cases at the 12 per blaster box. As you say how can you say no to the price point.

Sorry, lame title, but it seems like overall selling prices look to be coming back down quickly. We all know they blew up through the pandemic, held strong even early this year, but things have changed and it looks like it turned from the sellers market back to a buyers market.

Can it be as obvious as the COVID bubble popped, did we all run out of money, are people in general unsure about the economy and holding on to their money, did the hockey love go away, is it a reflection of the overproduction and long delays from Upper Deck that we are finally tired of? Or maybe it's just the end of summer and when hockey starts up again the market will rebound?

Just curious what others think. I sat on the sidelines forever waiting to finally start selling cards, jumped in this year, started out well, but feels like everything died off.

Of course prices are coming down... A market correction had to happen - so I feel bad for all of these people that paid insane prices for cards but it's 1993 all over again ..... Look, I'm fine because I don't mess with the newer stuff - I do vintage and extremely rare 90's inserts and parallels - preferably serial numbered ..... Yes, while some of you guys were buying YG's and speculating - I saw that as an opportunity to "raid" the 90',s lol - a ton of serial numbered Leaf/Donruss stuff - I bought a ton of vintage as well for pennies on the dollar....... I'm not a jerk but - most collectors bought way too high ..... Especially those that bought basketball..... This is bad for the hobby but you're going to pay..... Anyone have a PSA 10 Kevin Maas er Brein Taylor???

Also UD1 21-22 retail for 67CA and OPC 21-22 blasters for 16CAD. And, I now have 5 Extended 20-21 retail 24 packs boxes on my shelf! :)

I started a small vintage collection in the past couple years. Nothing fancy, rookies of guy like Hull, Robitaille, Chelios, Stastny, ... Very fun and affordable, it's a side of the hobby I enjoy more and more. I'm really excited when I get some vintage in my mail box.

Thank you for the info! I like having 5-10 fun and cheap boxes stacked in advance at home. That way, I always have something at hand to break during a calm day.

That was an awesome deal. And the Platinum blasters last year were arguably the best product Upper Deck put out in a while, especially if you're into shiny cards. I was hoping Platinum blasters for 21-22 would have been out in time for this year's Black Friday sales, but I guess not.

    Nope

Platinum hobby is supposed to be out on Nov 30th

I noticed that ZE has most recently sold out of last year's series 1 blaster boxes and this year's mvp blasters. Interesting.
