MMA Card sets?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I couldn't find anywhere else.
Does anyone know if there has been any Mixed Martial Arts cards printed by anyone? I've been searching the web and any card related sites and I cannot find anything. Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
David

Thanks for the reply, hopefully they'll come out with something.
I did see a picture of a Japanese MMA card in a blog reference but I couldn't tell much about it.

There are random MMA cards, 06 Topps Allen & Ginter had cards of Randy Coture, even an Autograph thats pretty spendy.
and 07 Sport Kings has Auto/Memrobilia and base cards of Quentin Jackson.
Other than that, i dont think there is much else thats availible yet.
I do have an auto of a guy who fought in 3 or so MMA fights, but more known for being a Olympic Gold Medalist, Rulon Gardner from 05 Prestige Fans of the Game Auto

in the US UFC is king but worldwide Pride is very popular. I have a friend in the military right now stationed in korea and while he was here we used to always have UFC parties. They do the same thing in korea only it is for the pride fights. From what he has said there are quite a few pride fighters that would dominate the UFC if they came over. But to many of them it is more of a cultural thing than a money thing which is why a lot of them stay in pride
but with the cards i am pretty sure they were just basic cards... it would be pretty cool to get a event used shorts card or something... although honestly i dont know if i want to hold a peice of shorts worn by crocop or someone like that who doesnt have a lot of extra material

Pride isnt big anymore, its done...UFC bought them out, and folded the league earlier this year.
Alot of the Pride Fighters have signed with UFC, but Fedor signed with a Russian MMA league

from what i understand about the deal, the UFC owns Pride, but are still "seperate entities"...maybe im wrong, haven't heard much on it since the deal was made, but thats how it was originally explained
id agree that Pride fighters are every bit as good as the UFC....Rampage Jackson came from Pride!! love "The Page"!!! i dont think ive ever been more hyped up before ANY fight than i was watching "The Page" before the Chucky L fight!!
