I agree. I think the college kids are getting a little out of hand with the protesting during speeches. I used to be involved in political clubs in college but we never went to the extent of personal attacks or interrupting speeches. It seems like there is no respect anymore. The first amendment gets thrown around more than a bean bag in a game of hot potato, and thus these kids (and admittedly some adults) feel inclined to interject these preposterous notions whenever they feel like they need attention. Thank God for the taser. :-)

im just sooo sick of hearing about 9/11 if i turn on the tv i still hear people talking about it. yes people died and it was a tradgedy, but since the gov't turned the tradgedy into a political rally it has become annoying, I mean you dont hear the japanese still complaining about the USA murdering all those thousands of innocent civilians when they dropped the bomb do you or the 100,000 or so centeral/south americans who died as a result of us interventions . its time we move on and focus n making this country a trylygreat and noble place instead of the disgrace it has become

I don't totally diagree with you, but how many lives were saved by ending the war with Japan during WWII with the "bomb"? They were in fact given a chance to surrender. When did 100,000 or so Central and South Americans die due to the U.S. intervening? I also don't believe this country has became a "disgrace". Maybe some politicians have, but the military isn't, the every day citizen for the most part isn't a disgrace. At some point, you have to stand up to terrorism and those other things that threaten national security. Defending your country's people and national interest isn't a disgraceful thing and is it is very noble to stand up for those who can't fight back against dictatorships . I for one feel it is the right thing.
One more thing...we will never ever forget 9-11. The politicians do use 9-11 for their own agenda, but I hope we as citizens never forget what happened.
I never supported Clinton politically, but he was my commander-in-chief so I respected him as all military members should have when he was the President. I don't agree with his vision and politics, but I wanted to say "you go Bill" after seeing that video. Maybe Rose O' D should take note.

Actually, I hear it all the time. If you have lived in Japan or South Korea like I have they have memorials every year even 50+ years later. It is national news every anniversary.
Just like here in Hawaii Dec 7 is a huge date.
I think it is silly to forget what happened on 9-11. The ones that are sick of hearing of it have already forgotten what happened that day and are likely not serious against the threat that is out there. Just my opinion!

10-4. Anyone who thinks that 9-11 was a one time thing and that there is no threat out there is seriously misled.

Just be damn glad we developed the bomb before Germany or Japan did ! The ONLY reason we got involved in that war was because we were pretty well pissed off about them sneaking over here (while peace talks were ongoing), sinking our fleet and killing thousands and thousands of our people. From every account I've ever seen the Japanese was one of the most ruthless, brutal armies that ever existed. Their goal was to take control of us. They were willing to go to any lengths to accomplish that goal and don't think for a second they wouldn't have bombed the living crap out of us if they could have, atomically or otherwise. THEIR goal was to conquer, OUR goal was to stop them from killing any more of our people.
Please check your history sometime. When we dropped those bombs we were in the the process of mobilizing our troops for an all out assault on Japan. Estimates are that at the least there would have been hundreds of thousands of casualties, and possibly into the millions. As absolutely horrendous as the atomic bombs were, they did indeed save countless lives. And like someone else stated, we didn't just go in and keep dropping the bombs, we gave them the opportunity to surrender.

And btw, I for one will never tire of hearing about 9-11 !
Kind of like, oh I don't know, maybe ummmmm......."Remember the Alamo" ? Or "December 7th 1941, A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY" ?
I think it's a travesty that they won't even show footage of it because "it might upset us". Well they're right, it upsets me plenty !!!!!!!!
