Actually Bush sr. might own stock in oil but I believe the younger one had to put all his money into a trust when he got elected for office.. I may be wrong but I think it's illegal for him to be active in owning stock while president..

just for the record, since gas was $2.00 a gallon, exxon mobil's cut per gallon has gone up less then a dime. All the rest of the increase is in the cost per barrel of oil and state/national tax. It also increased .25 a gallon when we decided to start "going green" and require a certain percentage of ethonal.
Everyone just assumes that if gas goes up it is the big bad oil company's fault. Guess what, it isn't!!

All I know is its not my fault and its not your fault but we are the ones who still pay the upping in price. Big Oil and every other person making money of oil is to blame. Bush is a bumb so is Big Oil.

But daddy is still making money.
Well, if guys like Michael Moore can own stock in oil companies and almost every American with a mutual fund, why not Bush Sr?
Also, Cheney was forced to sell every share in Halliburton when he became VP. What an idiot! He should have stayed CEO of Halliburton and had Bush invade Iraq. He would have made billions more!
So, let me get this straight. Bush and Cheney have no stock in any oil companies, report their taxes every year showing no money coming from oil company execs, but they invade just because the oil company execs will make money? So, no money for them, but plenty for their buddies? Man they are both dumb!

Or know they will have great jobs when they get out:) ..
I agree with Mccain that ethonal is not a good answer, and we should cut the subsidies to farmers.. Using food for ethonal will only cause the cost of food to go through the roof.. There are other alternative that they can use including electric(and had electric cars till the company recalled and destroyed them)...

They can get electricty from the Sun, Water, Wind, Nuclear(if people would stop protesting and allow them to build plants)...
The sad thing is if he was the Mccain that ran in 2000 I would vote for him but he is to far right now because he's afraid to offend the right wing for some reason.. He would have had a shot in 2000 if Bush/Rove hadn't pulled the crap in the carolinas..

McCain is not rightwing, that I can assure you. He is middle road who talks rightwing but when push comes to shove he is straight down the middle. Anyone right wing would not wanna be in Iraq becuase anyone rightwing would say we are there to back Isreal. So I don't think he is, others do.
