I'm not worried he's right wing I'm worried about all the pandering he is now doing to the right..
He was against bush tax cuts (now he supports them)
He was against torture but when push came to shove he voted for it
HE came up with an immigration bill which he doesn't support now
He Called Pastor John Hagee and other priest who have said FAR worse things than Rev. Right Hate mongers back in 2001 and 2002 now he embraces their support and says they are not hate mongers..
He knows nothing about the economy and thinks Americans are better off today than they were 8 years ago and his idea is to give more tax breaks to businesses.. and let insurance companies keep up with their practices..
Why are the Right so against socialized medicince but believe in socialized business?

They will be taken care of after their term is over. Did you notice how the Clinton's were broke when they left office and now are worth over 33 million? I have a sneaking suspicion that this administration is in line for golden parachute as well. :-)

I don't know why bothering since someone obviously believe Bush/Cheney walk on water
He won in 2000 by
1. Spreading rumor that john Mccain fathers a black child out of marriage
2. Used supreme court to cover voter supression and stop everyones vote from being counted
Won in 2004
1. Used 9/11 to scare people to death
2. Voter supression and fraud (there were over 200,000 complaints to just one agency)
http://ohioelection2004.com/evidence.htm
3. Swiftboated a War heroe into a wimp and even used a doctored photo of Kerry with Jane Fonda
4. Manipulated the Terror alert system and raised it EVERY time John Kerry made inroads or bad info of bush came out there was an alert (wonder if they will bring it back for mccain)..
John Kerry knew about the fraud (and if you watch hacked democracy even called and told his lawyer but told them to do nothing) and gave election to bush instead of fighting for good of nation..
As far as same thing with mccain he has switched his possitions so much and people are not afraid anymore and will NOT fall for the fear card again(and hopefully will reject him when he plays it)..
According to the sept 11 report all bush has managed to do was create more terrorists than before sept 11, the assertions he made linking Iraq to Bin laden were false, The US was not safer(it listed things needed done which have not been done including ports and borders).. This was a report with more republicans than dems on it..
The only way I see Mccain winning is if there is another terror attack or they FINALLY kill Bin Laden (the guy bush doesn't think about or care about as he has said).. Or if they play the race card against Obama

Just out of curiosity, how do you know how they will run the military? There is no possible way to know exactly how they will run a war as president.
McCain said 100 years in Iraq, but I am not sure he knew what he was talking about. He usually doesn't know himself until Lieberman whispers into his ear.
I was in the army, and I remember my chain of command, and at the top of that chain of command, sat the commander-in-chief, (which at that time was Bush Sr). It would be an ideal world where the president doesn't meddle in the military, but when they have the power to launch actions against other countries or can press a button and end the world as we know it, this is just a dream.

It never ceases to amaze me how people take what is an opinion and state it as fact, even when those "facts" defy logic. Except of course for the fact that they bolster preconceived notions and biases.
