Received a package with nothing in it???

It should of had a Leon Washington Elite Auto totc. What should I do, It looks like someone ran it over and the side was ripped out. The postal service left a message on it. What are my options if there are any. The seller never offered insurance.

honestly if u filed a paypal claim and used those scans, you would win a refund. i guess i would message the seller and see what they say. if they dont offer any type of refund you are hapyp with, id file the claim.

My LT card that I just got in today was ran over too. Not anywhere close to what your package looks like though.
A claim, if filed, will get your money back for sure.

Thanks for the concerns fellows, I want to file a claim but It really isn't the sellers fault. He didn't offer insurance but what ever the USPS did to the package is just terrible. I know how the employees get away with carelessness because I have a State job also and they only expect the bare minimum.

I wouldnt file a claim...the seller sent the package out and it's no ones fault but the post office. I'd just take the loss. Maybe ask him to split half the cost with you?

That sucks man, PO is gonna say "tough luck" since it didnt have insurance :(
I'd try and work something out with the seller and if not see what paypal can do for you.

This is why I always ask the sellers to tape the sides of the package before sending out high value cards. Can't trust the post office to do their jobs anymore...

I agree but all sellers should at least offer insurance. I emailed the seller, described everything and I will see where it goes from there. I really don't think I will file a claim through pay pal unless the seller is ignorant.

This never happens to anything with Insurance on it... they actually have to be careful with those. It's a small percentage of anything that gets damaged, but that small percentage is still too large in my opinion. THey need to find some way to better protect NON-Machinable mail.
