Are we actually going to list items that Obama voted on as an accomplishment? Are we that desperate? So he showed up, voted and left. That is an accomplishment? How many bills of that long list did he actually write himself?

He has been cleared by doctors and has someone who has actual executive experience as a governor. Obama picked a 65 year old man. Should we start questioning his health? I'm 35 and can out run 80% of the 21 year olds in my shop. There are people in America having heart attacks in their 30s. If doctors clear you that is what matter.

I see a lot of bigotry against McCain because of his age and it generally come from the younger folks. Sickening actually. Jimmy Carter is 82 years old and is running around the world like a 24 year old.

I would gladly take a former governor with 2 years experience over any congressman or Senator with 40 years experience REGARDLESS of age.

Do you realize that Warren Buffet is 77 Years old and still the best investor in the world. Should we tell him, "even though you are doing great, you need to go because you are 77. People are concerned about your age."

well, im not saying he shouldnt be considered because he's 72...but its a valid topic to discuss when considering who to vote for...

I live at penn state, and Joe Paterno will be 82 before the season ends...but i'm not about to tell him he's got to go after all he's done for this university

however, it's talked about almost daily...and I think it's at least valid to discuss this

I agree that is age can be discussed (as we are now), but if someone says they will NOT vote for McCain soley because his age or only describes McCain as "old" is a borderline bigot. A bigot is someone that won't even consider someone's opinion because of a specific trait. For example, if you REFUSE to vote for Obama because he is black then you are a Bigot. If you refuse to vote for him because he is a Muslim then you are a bigot. If you refuse to vote for McCain because he is old, you are a bigot.

His age is fair game and I think having a Governor as his running mate should make people feel even better than if he picked a fellow Senator.

Let's replace old with black and assume it was someone talking about Obama.

yes, i definitely get your point...i've just never heard of age bigotry before...i've heard of age discrimination (same thing obviously)....but dont mind me, i just like to pick because you're the owner!

also, if people wont vote for Obama cuz he's muslim, that isn't bigotry...that's just being ignorant and uninformed...the man is christian
