thank you.... not all rap is bad " there are some positive messages" but they are out numbered by the negativity that exudes from the majority of rap. i will concur heavy metal has some negativity in it... but it ultimately comes down to the individual and circumstance.... i grew up listening to the hardest of hard ( rap AND metal) i think i turned out ok... but i also obtained an excellent education at the same time and was lead by strong positive role models.... thats what these kids really need

its so stupid that you can go to jail for spanking your kids...and parents are role models but for a lot of people (me included) the parents work multiple jobs and are rarely around. and with parents not around kids will get into trouble

it can be done... my mother had to work night shift so that she could take care of my step dad during the day and while she was at work i had to take care of him ( he died when i was 15) i think responsibility and like previously discussed knowing what the consequence of your actions are will actually mold you into a man..... instead of a punk
