You should try parallel parking 53 foot semi between 2 high end cars..I was sweating bullets that day lol...

Anyways, just relax, it will come naturally to you. Make sure you adjust your mirrors so they cover most of your blind spot. I see too many people adjust the side mirror where side mirror reflects more then half of the rear end of your car. You do not need to be looking at your car when making lane change, but the lane you're changing into so, my advise is, get that mirror far out there where you can see entire lane (left/right). Rear view mirror should always cover most of your right rear end corner, not left where you can always see your face. Other half of course, covers the straight rear middle. I see people drive with rear view mirror upside down. I mean c'mon..
About quarter of way into parallel parking start straightening it out slowly, keep away from the curb, you do not want to put any curb rash on those rims/hub caps (lol).
Use signals, seatbelt at all times. Take a deep breath, everything will be fine, it always is. And remember, do not cut off semi trucks!!!! I'm sick of slamming on my breaks in order to avoid crashing a 60 ton truck into rear end of your Festiva! :) Good luck, keep us posted.

Only one thing that no one has really touched is that if your at a red light when it turns green make sure u look left and right before you drive through the intersection

I would hope for one's safety that the driver would do that even w/out anybody telling him that. If not, they don't need to be driving.

Good luck! I flunked the test twice before passing, and I never did learn parallel parking, so I am sure you can do better. :)

thanks everyone for the kind words and advice! i actually needed alot because i had forgot about it, i just want to pass to get a parking pass at school since i can't get one till i get my liscence :) (i dont like sitting outside for the bus in the winter :))
