LOL now that would be pretty funny....career backup guy going from unknown to star, i would think if he does well he will have teams coming after him to play elsewhere.

Do you think it would ever happen, Cassel rises to stardom, in turn pushing brady out the way brady did it to Bledsoe? That would be amazing if the Pats pulld that off again.

I don't know, hard to say. I seriously doubt the Pats would give up on a guy that lead them to 3 Super Bowl wins

Brady is a legend up there for what he has done....i think all of New England would riot if they just pushed him aside, it is all speculation anyways on Cassel. All these guys grabbing his cards right now paying through the roof will be highly ticked off if he bombs and they are stuck with a bunch of unwanted stuff.

Those three suffered from poor coaching and beatings due to a awful offensive line. Given better coaching and solid protection their careers could of been much different.

It's always a possibility if he does well and the team wins. The organization has demonstrated that no one player is essential to the team. If Cassel gets the job done then Brady can be shipped off and the cheaper player is kept.
I don't see Cassel tearing it up and the team will maybe make the Playoffs.
