The thing that's killing me is that it is SO CLOSE to being super but by the time Jackson matures, the defense will most likely be on the downswing and AP will be suffering from burnout and not be THE MAN anymore. They are ready right now for a strong, talented leader to take them all the way (ok, maybe not the receivers but I think their performance would improve with a better QB) and no QB on the team is at that level.

There were maybe 2 passes against the Colts that had any zip on them and those high floating long bombs make me cringe. We don't have a Moss that can go up against anybody and pull that stuff down anymore. I'm thinking I-N-T every time he lofts one.

Yeah, he does let some passes sail on him. But he has thrown some nice ones, like the one Shancoe failed to hold onto in the end zone the last game

He has flashes of competence, like right after halftime in the Packer game.

And right before halftim against the Colts. Do you think its the play calling? How many rollouts can you really do in a game?
