That is one sick Sweetness Auto, I'm completely jealous....

Thanks! Believe it or not, I took a chance and bought it for $50 dlvd off Ebay and sent it in to PSA/DNA. It came back as the real deal!

And do a search and see how many things he signed "Sweetness" on. Not a whole lot out there( and NONE I have ever seen with the smiley face! LOL )

Personally, I think some of the cut autos are a joke. There are some nice ones out there, but quite a few of them such as the Payton NT cut are plain ugly and don't even have the whole auto. What's the point of a cut auto if you dont' get the whole autograph? I'd rather have an entire auto on something nice, see below, one of the 3 payton autos I have.

here are 2, actually 3, because the second one is a twofer as you'll see.
the first is a cachet "envelope" from the gateway stamp co, post marked the date he broke the record, note that it is postmarked a while before card companys had autos. for those that don't know--there is no doubt about the authenticity of gateway cachets.

this second one is a lithograph signed by payton and the artist.

and the rest of the twofer is the coa, issued by the walter payton foundation, and also signed by walter payton.

I agree. The NT is ugly. I'd rather have them insert a redemption for the actual phone card than cut them up in a way where the entire signature isn't even visible.

does anybody notice that when anybody is looking for a payton autograph, they say any payton except the pro line or the phone card. the pro line was the first payton auto i got, and anybody that looks down on it rubs me the wrong way, and they will never get one of mine. yeah, like i have an attitude. they are probably the ones that bid the cut phone cards up. ho ho ho

Those are two of the nicest memoribilia pieces I've seen. Great collection.
