Bring Out Your Base (Team Collecting) (Signup Thread)

(Just a note as to why not to expect quick turnaround on the trades to begin, at least from me: I have over 35000 cards. I'm working 8-10 teams at a time, and am close to being done with the first 10, but still need to organize the teams somewhat also. It's going to take time to do this. Just a note ahead of time)

So, I finally got a new job and moved, and have finally had time to begin (and I do stress /begin/) sorting all of my cards. I'm working on 10 teams right now (Angels through Dodgers) and am interested in trading away all of my excess base for Astros that I collect. But then I thought, "Why be self-centered? Why not used SCF and try to make it a huge base trade for /everyone/!" So, that's what I'm doing.

This is the signup thread for the Great Base Trade. This is more aimed at team collectors than player collectors, although if you collect single players and people are willing to find just those players for you, more power to you.

So, post here if you're interested in trading plain, un-numbered, non-parallel, non-rookie /base/ cards. Help people fill their team or player collections! Trade people cards they haven't seen before!

I would love to get in on this. Would people just trade me all of their Red Sox base for base of their teams? I have traded away some teams already (Brewers, Padres, Giants, Cardinals, Tigers, Braves) but the others I have 100s of each. Would love to just give you ALL my cards of a given team for ALL of your cards of the Red Sox (would also take Brewers cards as well for trade).

Just so people know, I have many doubles in these cards. Would not be picking through them to weed out the doubles. Too much work.

Shinino - would you take ANY Astros cards, or do you strictly want only the guys you listed?

The thing to remember here, is that we're hopefully going to be trading more than just from / to me. I want everyone to get involved, with base flying all over the place.

And yes, I realize that there's another thread for player/team collecting, but this one is specifically for base (while most people seem to trade more for RC/#'d/AU/GU)

That seems like it could get pretty complicated, I figured since you have 35,000 base you'd want them all coming from you.

Well, what I'm going to do is once we get a bunch of people signed up, is have another thread with names and what they collect for base, so people can easily work up trades.

After all, I want this to continue beyond the point where I've traded off all of my base.
