Bumping this up. Still have about 8000 cards to sort through for the first 10 teams.

Back up again, although I have a feeling that VERY few people care about base.

And honestly? If that's the case, I'm quite willing to take Astros base from anyone who does not want them, and will pay shipping. :P (Yeah, that's pretty much a joke.)

So is this a monthly type thing? Or do we get rid of all our base in one go? I'd be interested in Phillies.

What I'd like to do is get a lot of people signed up so we can trade back and forth within the group.

My immediate goal is to trim down a lot of my base to get Astros base that I ned for my collection.

Beyond that, I know a lot of us buy boxes, so it gives us someone to trade with for the base when new products come out.

    Adding you for Phillies.

BTW: I now have Angels - Dodgers together, just need to sort by player and then they'll be ready to go out. Except, of course, no one's called for 'em yet. :D

I don't have much base left, but I'll sign up for the Braves.

    cool idea.

do you live around austin/round rock? as i see you have a lot of round rock express players listed. i just recently moved away from austin, but my parents still live there.

the express are a really fun team to watch. and dell diamond is great if you haven't been.

    anyway, have a great day.

(Just a note as to why not to expect quick turnaround on the trades to begin, at least from me: I have over 35000 cards. I'm working 8-10 teams at a time, and am close to being done with the first 10, but still need to organize the teams somewhat also. It's going to take time to do this. Just a note ahead of time)

So, I finally got a new job and moved, and have finally had time to begin (and I do stress /begin/) sorting all of my cards. I'm working on 10 teams right now (Angels through Dodgers) and am interested in trading away all of my excess base for Astros that I collect. But then I thought, "Why be self-centered? Why not used SCF and try to make it a huge base trade for /everyone/!" So, that's what I'm doing.

This is the signup thread for the Great Base Trade. This is more aimed at team collectors than player collectors, although if you collect single players and people are willing to find just those players for you, more power to you.

So, post here if you're interested in trading plain, un-numbered, non-parallel, non-rookie /base/ cards. Help people fill their team or player collections! Trade people cards they haven't seen before!

    Let's bring the /fun/ back.

I'll start, and pretty much try to keep to the format I use, please, as it'll be easier to track:

    * = Any team player is on

Houston Astros (Nolan Ryan*, Mike Scott*, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Brandon Backe*, Fernando Nieve, Alberto Arias, Paul Estrada, Samuel Gervacio, Brad James, Roy Oswalt, Felipe Paulino, Wandy Rodriguez, Chris Sampson, Wesley, Wright, Lance Berkman, Humberto Quintero, J.R. Towles, Edwin Maysonet, Mark Saccomanno, Michael Bourn*, Hunter Pence, Reggie Abercrombie, Yordany Ramirez, Prospects)

    Boston Red Sox - schwood

New York Yankees(Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Jeter, Paul O'Neil, Mike Mussina, Don Mattingly, Jorge Posada, Thurman Munson, Hideki Matsui, Andy Pettitte, C.M. Wang, Tino Martinez, David Cone, Doc Gooden) - dizzydolse

    Pittsburgh Pirates - Etmill01

    Philadelphia Phillies - GibertArenas01
