To say KG is overrated is incredible...the guy's a stud, not one dimensional and if needed can take over a game.

bush isnt overrated at all, hes scored the most touchdowns in the league this year

    Baseball: David Ortiz
    Football: Chad Johnson
Basketball: Not too many overrated in basketball... I'd say maybe Vince Carter since he's been with the Nets.

And just my opinion on this; but I think Eli Manning is UNDERRATED, so many people say he's overrated, I don't get how he possibly is. No one says he's amazing (anymore... after the Super Bowl there was the comparisons to Peyton for a bit), but people will still call him overrated. It just makes no sense that 95% of NFL fans say he's overrated, think about that and ask yourself who calls him great... basically no one.

Other weird ones I've seen are KG (how?), Bynum (most casual fans couldn't tell you what team he plays for), Braylon (imo the best WR in the league, he can make something out of nothing, just drops too many), and Zimmerman... how can a guy who doesn't get attention be overrated?

The guy comes in and suppose to be great. fielding wise he has it. the bat isn't there. he struggled to get to .280, he can't hit in his own park. he's suppose to be the face of the nats, the first pick, hits .266 in 06 but hits for HR. I'll still give him time...its just not there yet compared to what we all expected.

and the Edwards thing-thats called inconsistent, great WR are consistent

Very true, but his HR #'s were better in the old stadium and his average was down. and it just flipped in the new stadium. I'm still giving him time, i think this year would be the big year. He did get hurt a good bit last year as well

I have to agree with Zimmerman....he was supposed to be incredible, yet hasn't done much.

I mean, people were expecting him to put up numbers than Ryan Braun has, and it hasn't even been REMOTELY close.

    baseball: arod and derek jeter
    football: eli manning
    basketball: KG (sorry Nathan)

I'm sorry, but what the heck?? KG is most definitely NOT overrated. None of these players are overrated IMO - Jeter is pushing it, but I wouldn't call him overrated yet.

    Baseball: Barry Zito
    Basketball: Jason Richardson, Gilbert Arenas
    Football: Edgerrin James

All have been good in their careers, but all are lacking in superb talent now, yet are still considered great.
