Joe Johnson - MVP Material????
IMO - yes. He is the most underrated player in the NBA without a doubt. Tonight, he scored a WHOPPING 35 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Including a game clinching three pointer! I think he is an MVP candidate, if people just start to notice him and the hawks. LMK your thoughts!

I know it is early, but i felt like it was the same thing last year. Im pretty sure he averaged around 22-23 ppg, but nobody ever talked about him it seems.

IMO he does make the team, well him and JSmoove (Josh Smith). Without him, the hawks wouldnt get more than 10 wins in a season!

I don't know about that. Hawks have alot of talent on the roster. The current hawks team would never get an NBA MVP. they play as a unit. One player doesn't make the team great. Johnson can have a bad game and a teammate will pick up his slack.

i agree with what your saying in some ways. i feel that the hawks are a very young team, and joe johnson is like the leader of these young players. i feel that in the next few years, the hawks will keep improving, and making a name for themselves, but joe johnson is teaching the team

if kobe, lebron, kg, chris paul, nash, deron williams, and about 10 other guys all can't play this year because of some freak accident then maybe he's got a shot
