O I was screaming. Just not AT you. Just in general. I saw what happened to one guy on this board tonight that said too much that was on his mind haha. He's getting it bad, and not just on that particular thread, on others as well.

I see what you're saying, and agree with you. He is a leader. But a GOOD LEADER, must also do good. Not bad. We will see in the next 4 years how Obama does.
BTW, Hitler was also a "good" leader. Just did horrific things.
I think that's a very good point. I'm also NOT COMPARING OBAMA TO HITLER, but leadership in itself is not sufficient. Being able to command respect, convince people to follow you, and make people believe in you is great, but it all depends on where you're leading them...that's the problem I have.

Cheap shots, expensive shots, low shots, high shots, big shots, jello shots.........doesn't matter, they all bounce off anyways. We once had the so called "teflon don", we now have ourselves an armor plated don. For the moment absolutely nothing can penetrate his facade.

I'm usually in general agreement with you but think you're wrong on this one.
If he fails miserably I don't think race will be an issue.
I think people would reexamine why they voted for him and be a bit more cautious the next time an charismatic, fantastic public speaker that has no experience and no real voting record comes along promising them the world with flowery nebulous speeches.
But won't consider another black canidate ? An emphatic NO, not an issue.

i tend to agree with techman seeing as it took this long before now to happen...
and i dont know how much pre election stuff you watched but the race issue was always still a huge issue and if he fails badly it most likely will continue to be
