just figured I would bump this up one time and see if there were anymore questions out there. For anyone that doesn't want to read all 20 pages, this is just an open thread for any questions regarding religion, church, God, etc.

I don't really know much about the bible...I paid very little attention in Sunday School as a kid
However, I was watching this video that said all of the prophets in the bible are really just based on Egyptian pharoahs...it went on to say that Jesus is really Caesarion, who was the only son of Julius Caesar & Cleopatra...and that Jesus spent 17 years in Tibet known as St. Issa
im not trying to blast your religion or anything, so I hope nobody takes offense...I just found the video interesting in the way it lays out the theory and thought I'd ask for your opinion, or if you've ever heard of this before

if you can get me info on the video i would love to check it out.
Didn't take it as blasting. There are numerous theories where people have tried to make correlations between people in the bible with other world people.
It can usually be argued convincingly but isn't based on fact. Even Jewish history records Jesus of Nazareth as being crucified at the time the bible does.

He pretty much gives his views on all religion. good, bad, extremism and so on. He more or less questions a lot of the religious notions that are complete leaps of faith and tries to get his interviewees to explain way they feel as such. I was impressed with the amount of research that went into the documentary. I'm guessing that a lot of people who are religious won't see it because they may think it's just an anti-religion documentary, but I think it's worth seeing no matter you beliefs.
Some people get angry that he's questioning what they believe in and others debate him and justify their beliefs.

Yes I did, and seeing as how well-educated and worldly he is, I'm amazed he could even entertain thoughts of creationism being true, let alone be so vehemently gung-ho in favor of it. It always gives me a perverse sense of amusement to hear people like him, a Yale-educated mutli-millionaire, ranting about how the "liberal elitists" are "holding real Americans down."
Here's a link where you can download the documentary with subtitles pointing out all of Stein's lies:
