Add T.J. Ford to the list of potential All-Stars this year.
and no, I personally do not think Derrick Rose is All-Star material.
I used to hate Ford during this offseason when there was all this talk of us (the Pacers) trading JO for him basically, and I hated the idea. But just a few weeks into the season I can't believe what a steal of the trade we got and can't believe how good T.J. Ford is.

Those of you that don't think Rose is all-star material.....could you give an explanation for why not?

I just think that there are a lot more better and more deserving PG's out there than Rose right now.

I don't think he's allstar material yet - you have to be like a Jordan to be an allstar in your first year - will he be a future allstar? Most likely. Is he deserving of being an allstar now? Too early IMO. Will he make the allstar team this year? No. The reason being is that there are alot of other PG's that will get more recognition than him, whether it's deserved or not. Rondo will surely be an allstar this year because a) he was a big part of last year's champions and b) he has improved dramatically this year.

If ben Gordon passed the ball more maybe his PPG would be up a little bit. It seems Gordon tries to pad his stats in the first half, then pass the ball around. I think he feels like Rose is trying to run him out of his position (and eventually chicago). Also Rose does whats best for his team. If hes cold he wont keep shooting, and shooting, and shooting (Ben Gordon), and shooting, and uhmm shooting. God, he aggrivates me sometimes.

Rose won't make it....because they don't choose from strictly PG's. They take the best guards, period. And Rose isn't close.

If Rose is All Star Material, then O.J. Mayo should get consideration aswell.
