We will be adding a field so that shippers can make their end of the deal as "shipped" and place a dace in their. This way you can check the status of the trade and see if it has been shipped or not and use it as a reference for your feedback scores.

I noticed this is up and running today, and I'm sure there are a few kinks to be ironed out. Just one note, I put today's date in as the shipping date, and it saved it as "yesterday".

I do, however, like this aspect of the Trade Manager. Just wondering why it says N/A for the member I'm trading with?

wouldn't shipping and timeliness kind of be considered the same thing??

or does shipping refer more to a shipping charge for sales etc.??

either way I like the star system thing, this way you can still leave a positive for the overall transaction but if the person doesn't communicate well etc. you can make note of it for others to see!!

    nice implementation I think:)

I wonder if it does not use your own time zone? For example it could be Yesterday already in a time zone that the Trade Manager uses. Just guessing.

i think shipping more refers to how long it takes the package to arrive and timeliness would be more along the lines of overall time, including how long it initially takes the member to mail the package.

because you know some people wait a long time before mailing and some mail the same day.

Trader ratings will show N/A until they receive 10 ratings. This way, if someone gets a bad rating on the first one and 9 excellent ratings, the number won't be low because of one trade issue.

Shipping refers to how a person shipped, PWE, bubble, reused bubble not sealed well, box, etc. Since most members do not like getting a PWE in a trade unless it's agreed upon, you can now reflect that in the rating.

Timeliness refers to how fast the member ships. You can gauge this based on arrival and the postmark on the envelope. Delays by the post office should not be held against the member, which is why you should check the postmark on any trade you feel has taken longer than it should. Plus, MSF members should not hold it against the other trader for a package that shows up a week to 10 days after they ship as they have to send first and the other party does not have to send until they receive. Also, there are instances where a member will say they received the package back due to sending to the wrong address. Unless they provide you with a picture/scan of the envelope to prove this, you can use this as well.

Dispute the rating like you would dispute a negative and it can be looked into...

I like this system. Unfortunately I know I will get a few dings do to packaging. I ran out of tape and needed to get to the PO before they closed, so I wasn't able to prepare them the way I normally would. Hard telling when I can actually get to the PO now that our volume has picked up.

Not sure if I missed it or something, but some sort of mass message informing the users about the new rating system and the change in feedback would have been nice. Just so that everyone was on the same page before it went into effect.

Also, I clearly have it stated on my signature (see below, lol) that I will PM when I send the package off. Due to never knowing when I will be home before the PO closes, will this affect the timely matter on my part beings it is stated and that I will communicate with the person to inform them of the exact day it goes out?

    Thanks for answers in advance.
    Tim
