If anyone ever comes to Saskatoon ,Saskatchewan there is a card shop in the Confederation park plaza called AJW's sports cards , The owners name is Al and he is one of the nicest and honest sportcard shop owners i have ever met. And the prices are pretty good.

I went to a local shop here called Grand Slam. They offer an assortment of cards, but most od what they have are cards no one wants. They have the cardboard boxes out full of commons and set fillers. Nothing in their display cases are after 2000. The workers ignore you like you are bothering them. Oh, and quite overpriced.

If your ever in the Minnesota area, there are a few good shops around here. In central minnesota (St. CLoud) there are two shops:
Dugout Sportscards: This is a great shop, with very fair pricing. The man that owns the store is one of the nicest I have met. He makes no profit from the store, all the $$$ he makes, he turns around and spends it on more inventory. He makes all his money from a Granite Mining company. But once again, this is a very good shop.
Shinders: There are many Shinders stores in Minnesota, but I don't take to highly to any of them. I think they are very rude when helping customers, but some places are ok. I once saw a Troy Glaus game used base cards for 4 dollars there. I just wish these places werent being taken over by Yu-Gi-Oh and other non-sportscards.
Wouldnt you agree?

i go to 2 mainly:
BC Sports Collectibles in Danbury, CT- fair pricing and they have a lot of memorabilia as well. better to buy packs there than singles since they don't have very many. Overall good place to buy.
Diehl's Sports Cards in Wilkes-Barre, PA- very reasonable pricing with lots of singles, packs and boxes. not really any memorable but its great for cards, definetley a must visit if you have some time. Also $1 star packs are very good for getting star singles in some of the more minot sets.

Unfortunately my town no longer has a card shop. Not for like 5 years now. So I gotta go to 7 eleven or the internet.
