I agree! I think the members should be heard!!! (okay, I know we are, I'm just being dramatic)
When members didn't like the new system for trading, having to put cards in, staff left the "old manager" there for those that want it. So they definately do listen!!!!

Yes, they do listen, I'm just waiting for a reply and possibly an update.
I also think some members are afraid to give honest feedback on this, why, I'm not sure. I have received 3 PM's (I will leave them anonymous) since I voiced my opinion on the subject and they agreed with me, but when I asked, 'why don't you post on that thread and let your voice be heard', I haven't seen a reply to my PM or a reply on this post.
And that just makes me stick to my guns more, that members are afraid of staff members when it comes to voicing their opinions and even rating them.
Believe me, the staff and mods want to hear from everyone, don't be afraid, SCF isn't like other forums where you'll get warning points for expressing your opinions (just keep them clean and civil).
As far as the rating system goes, well that's a different subject and I would feel the same way.Last edited by bbcards4sale; 01-07-2009 at 01:58 PM.

I have to agree with some of the concerns posted on this thread so far. Ok - I admit it, I'm a bit of a reactionary in general, but this change in particular seems like change for changes sake. There have been A TON of extremely positive changes on this site over the past several months, but a few recently have left me concerned. SCF is not the 'Bay, and shouldn't try to be - lately it seems like there has been a conscious effort (auctions coming and the feedback system) to parallel it. Just my opinion - overall this is still by far the best online trading community I've been part of - hope it stays that way - Mike

Definately one of many concerns, SCF is in a league of it's own, why bother competing with another trading or selling site.
Are there any updates on this issue or any of the listed concerns?
Please let us know,
Thank you.

A few weeks in, and I'm still at the same standpoint as quite a few members. SCF is the best trading site out there, and it's because of how it is (was). Why change it?
I'm still continuing to put "excellent" for everything. Perhaps I should've started by putting "N/A" to everything instead.

I've also considered (haven't done it yet) just putting N/A for everything as some sort of vague protest. A bit frustrating that we don't seem to be getting any real response to our objections.

we usually dont get our questions answered guys...sorry to say, we'll get the "we've discussed this in the team forum and we feel that everything is fine"
so really, whatever we feel, they (the mods) can override whatever feelings we have towards thisHidden Content

No one should be 'afraid' to comment and share their opinion. I think Mike said he would revisit this after some time had passed, i think it has only been a little over a month.
What are the current main complaints about the star ratings?
