    i watched it and it did seem like 20/20 went out of their way to show individuals that pretty much solidify every stereotype of the region.

    There plenty of stereotypes to be had. The mines do provide some great jobs but are dirty and tough way of life. Of course the drugs are the usual drugs but Oxycotin as that a big problem.

    Wife went to Belfry so spent a lot of time in the Hollers when going home with her. Had no clue what a Holler was until I went down to Pike County. Live and Learn but it not all bad.

    ya when people say holler most people think of trashy people and pill heads. actually the majority of the people in hollers r nice people just wanting to support there family and have nice stable jobs. just have a few years of college can start you out at $60,000 a year at the mines and every year that goes up
