State Pride!
We are all from different states, so lets show some facts that makes our respective states great and unique.

here are a few of the more interesting ones.
Texas is the only state that its flag can fly the same height of the National flag.
In Texas, if you get caught stealing cattle, you can still be hanged.
El Paso, TX is closer to California than it is to Dallas, TX.
In Mesquite, TX it is illegal for a child to have an "unusual haircut".

Minnesota's "unofficial" state bird is the mosquito. (not really)
In Virginia, MN, is it illegal to park your elephant on Main St.
It is illegal to have mens and womens undergarments hung on the same clothesline to dry in MN.
Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" yet it has less bodies of water than Florida.

In Oregon it is illegal to use canned corn as fish bait

Haha i don't think these are true. Your not allowed to beat your wife no matter what. I've set many mouse traps when i was younger. And i've cussed many times at the golf course in Long Beach.

I'm sure they are - they just aren't enforced any longer, or haven't been removed from the book of laws.
