Well i did all legit trades lol.
I got Michael beasley through free agency. I don't like to play unfair only legit.

yea,
i always like to have a really good team.
sometimes though, you're right.
too many good guys and it gets boring.
but then when i just got finished with a Suns vs. Spurs game (on All-Star difficulty for the 15-point achievement) it was reg. rosters so was really fun. ended up winning 106-104. might just trade back for other players

I traded Sam Cassell and Scot Pollard to MN for Rodney Carney, and he put up 22, 16, 6, 23 or something like that...lol

guys NBA 2K9 for the XBOX 360 is the BEST GAME FOR NBA!
great graphics - great player graphics - and too many good moves!
i love the amount of achievements - 50! (unlikely for a sports game)
best part is - got 13 of 'em in 2 days!
all great/fun achievements:

such as, you have players like Nash, Lebron,Kobe,KG,etc. and you'll have to go in and get like, at least 20 points, 13 rebouns, 8 assists or something
very fun to get the game played more.

plus the Rival achievements (ie: gotta play celtsvs.lakers, sunsvs.spurs, etc)

Might it be the downloaded roster making him out of commision?

lol i love how NBA 2k9's achievements come so easily if you try for them!
i already have 26 of 50 achievements, being 500 points!
loll if you go for the player ones, they are 25, team vs. are 15, and others include 35, 20, and 10!

10 you can get just by going into 2K Beats and un-selecting one song, exiting out and then it give you 10 points!

and for another 10-point achievement is making a player (don't even have to use him!) and you exit out and it gives you 10.

VERY good game if you're looking for achievements.

i have that many and got the game thursday!

That's one of the coolest features on the game actually. It's called "the living roster". It checks to see if the rosters are updated every time you log in to play. That way, for instance, the day Jermaine O'Neal was officially on the Heat, he would be on their roster. As of right now, if you go to play now, Kevin Garnett won't be in the starting line-up for the Celtics.

You and I definately need to grab a game of this sometime. What difficulty do you play on?

I'm in the first year of my Draft your roster style association and the line-up is this:

PG: Steve Nash
SG: Michael Redd
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Antonio Mcdyss
C: Marc Gasol

and coming off the bench we have:

Antonio Daniels
Sean Williams
Linus Kleiza
and a few others who I don't let play lol.

I like doing the draft your team style b/c it makes every team pretty even.
