What would you change for Topps UFC Round 2?

These are some things I would change/add with the next iteration of UFC cards:

1. More individual cards. The only individual cards were the victorious debuts and autograph cards. 80-90% of the cards were Fighter A vs Fighter B
2. Cards with more stats, such as wins-losses, maybe their last 3-5 fights and outcomes, strengths and weaknesses.
3. Includsion of Rookie cards. Technically, most fighters that enter the UFC aren't rookies, but if you consider UFC to be like the Major Leagues, then a fighter's first year in the UFC would count as rookies.
4. Fighters autos that didnt make it into Round 1
5. The rest of the octagon girls
6. Do away with the thick parrellel cards. Its just filler material. If you're gonna do parrelel cards, atleast make em look different other than just making them thicker. Do they insert thick cards to fool people that are looking for the Ultimate Gear/mat cards when buying individual packs?
7. Fighter camps cards with groupshots of people from different gyms like American Top Team, Miletich, Chute Box, Extreme Couture, Greg Jackson's, etc..

The inserts like the Mat, autos, and ultimate gears are great, I'd definitely want them to keep that, but just have a different variety of fighters for the next run. Thats all i can think of for now. Lemme know what you guys would change.

I agree, I'd much rather see individual cards than cards featuring a fight. I do like the idea of certain fight cards for a subset such as the top 10 fights, that's great. But the base set should be individual fighters.

First and foremost, I would love to see cards that feature artwork. This is my personal bias speaking as I'd love to see my own art on some trading cards, other than the ones I printed myself as my business cards. ;) There are now quite a few guys doing quality MMA artwork though, Evan Shoman, Justin McAllister, and more. I think a subset featuring a bunch of artwork from the various artists would be awesome.

For the most part, I think the chase cards are great. Autographs, dual autos, mats, fight worn gear, and autograph gear combo...Perfect. I also always kinda liked parallels, however I don't see much point in parallels if they're not numbered. The red autos also ought to be numbered.

I agree with 'rookie' cards, however since it's not as black and white who's a rookie such as in other major sports, perhaps just calling them prospects would be great.

How about a subset for TUF winners? UFC record holders? (most fights, most wins, first champion, fastest KO, fastest sub, most consecutive wins, most title defenses, etc).

Last but not least, I'd just like to see MORE. A bigger set, perhaps 200 base cards. Autos of every guy. Etc.

It's a great start, I just wish I could get my hands on some of these!

Jon Jones would have made an awesome rookie/prospect card. Do you think theyll do a Round 2 by the end of the year?

Oh, do any of you guys know what the "red" and "black" base parellel cards are supposed to be? It's described on the wrapper, but I don't see them in the set anywhere

And whats so great about Xfractors? I've taken a look at them and they look like stickers from the 80-90s when that whole rainbowhologram checkerboard look was the craze. It distracts alot from the photos, imo

The black parallel don't look different but are numbered and the red is actually the color red, I got the Bisping Red Base 1/1

Chrome would make it for sure. As well as individual fighter cards. I also agree for more #'ing on cards. Otherwise I am pretty impressed so far with the set and can't wait for Round 2!

I kinda preferred the look of the cancelled Upper Deck MMA cards. I looked at the checklist for it and it had lots of individual cards which I think would have made better base cards then the Topps ones. The main thing that made the Topps set great were the inserts.

How about Legends autos? They could work in the Shamrocks, Gracies, Tank, Severn, and others not on the current roster.
