But to address the question, that's not always the case. It usually comes down to the type of person...some people embrace new and different ideas, while some don't.

Most people are so caught up in their daily routine that they don't see the need, or have the desire, to try something new and different. While sometimes bad, it can also be a good thing. I think it depends on the person, the situation, and the unknown.
