and if UNC was really that good they should've won without lawson, and i don't see how Douglas wasn't ACC player of the year?
Everyone can have a bad day. just ask Pitts, Uconn, OU, Kansas and maybe its because Lawson is a better pg

but douglas is a more clutch and a way better scorer, but who cares about that, what you're saying is they lost because lawson didn't play which is an excuse. the REASON they lost is because BOBBY FRASOR ahahahahaha was guarding TONEY DOUGLAS...Frasor is your most unathletic guy guarding the best scorer in the ACC...should've atleast had someone who can guard on him and you would've won...

i'm not i'm stating facts...the reason you guys lose is because you can't guard PG's (Vasquez, Douglas, Teague and Rice) they all had big games when you guys lost, that's why i think losing ginyard is huge for you guys because he could lock down and they don't really have anyone else to do it.

I have to agree with aw, losing Ginyard and Lawson was huge for us. We went from 4 deep at the pg spot to 2 (and the worst two). It's all retrospective now, though. We've locked up a 1 seed in the tourney, and all the Heels can do is hope Lawson's recovery progresses.
As far as Douglas (or any Florida State athelete) winning an MVP ... and I hate to bring it up ... that cheating scandal has been a black eye for the university and the conference. I think the voters are gun-shy about considering him for the honor. It's unfortunate because the guy can flat out score.
