09-10 NBA Draft
Assuming Blake Griffin gets taken first overall by my Sacramento Kings (LOL), who else comes closer to him... I think it's going to be a weak class (sorry Panini, bad timing) but I can't think of a second guy to challenge Blake. Maybe Ricky Rubio? Tyreke Evans? DeRozan? How bout that kid Brandon Jennings that went overseas? Let's talk some prep to pros in the upcoming class

Ricky Rubio will probably be chosen 2nd overall

Kings may be the worst team, but the lottery will be fixed so that my Wizards will get #1, as stated by President Barack Obama.

I think Jennings could be a nice player. He's a high-octane scorer who I think is the top PG of the class.

Last i heard of him, is that he wasn't getting that much playing time overseas

yeah, that's true. Just look at the bulls last year. According to Jennings, I think he hurted himself by going overseas to be benched, so alot of teams will question him because he hasn't been proven. Although he hurted himself, at least not in his wallet. The kings need a PG but at the same time, we want the best talent available. Heck, they need to get better at all positions.

True, haven't followed him in a couple weeks.
Can someone tell me about Rubio? Only time I saw him was in the game against USA. I've heard he's a great young PG prospect who's not yet 20. I've also heard from others that he's overrated.

he kinda reminds me of a Ginobli, a guy that drives and penetrates...

He is still playing about 20 minutes a game and still shooting 20 percent from three

Depending on what happens, I could see Ty Lawson challenging Rubio for that #2 pick, he is playing insane right now, showing he is a leader, he can do a bit of everything. Assuming that toe heals up and the Heels win the title, you might be looking at the man behind Griffin

Jennings reminds me of a Russell Westbrook... fast, athlete combo guard that has explosiveness
