I'm not trading much, and I don't bother with posting "Looking for" threads lately, as I get little or no response - I guess it kinda goes in waves too - some months, I'll have 25 trades - others, I'll be lucky with 10, but money also is a factor ;-)

And Jeremy - Dan does have a bucket - it's just not in his sig ;-)

Yea, but your selective, and you set trades up to go in big lots alot, which reminds me, i need you to resend the list of Jeffersons you needed, because i deleted the list on accident :(

Hey everyone,

just need some suggestions on how to make collecting more fun again..lol Lately its been mostly frusterating and annoying..Either people arent responding to threads, and they post on mine constantly only to get no response. or people only want to trade when they give up "junk" and want your "star" stuff in return...not everyone is like this but there have been alot doing this lately, and i'm really tired of it... NO THIS IS NOT A RANT! just for the record...

I tried going back to collecting any Piston card i dont have, but all that leads to is people either not taking the time to check what i already have and expect me to look through long lists of what they have, or wanting to only trade for my autos/gu's for there 90s base that everyone has but wont look through...

Anyone with suggestions? its just not fun anymore to me, but i ofcourse dont want to let people dictate weather i collect or not..

I am in the same boat. I have only been on here for a short time and i am just considering posting all of my trade bait on ebay and keeping a personal collection. I though a trade was supposed to be fair and make both sides happy....maybe i'm wrong. I could understand if someone has a real rare or extemely high end hard to get card and they would want a trade in their favor if they are trading down but i have begun to think that some people are really retarded. I have enquired about trading with a few people and i have no idea where they are getting their values from. For example, Reggie Bush is my favorite football player, i have had people telling me that they are looking for 300-400 values and are asking me for Kobe's, LeBron's, Marino's... c'mon!!!! It's not like i dont have good trade bait.....Marino Auto /5....a Yogi Berra Auto 1/1....a Steve Young Auto/Jersey /25...what do i get offered in return...crap!!! lol...or they will even have the nerve to say that that's not enough for something even. I do understand frustration of someone not responding to threads....i am guilty of that myself....BUT....in some cases i feel that the thread does not warrant a response....like this guy that just offered me 25 bucks for my Brandon Roy exquisite auto.....I think i'll stop ranting for now before i say something that gets me in trouble lol. -i'm out!!!!
