Spurs nearly have 4 guys in double figures already - Duncan and Finley each have 10, Parker has 9 and Gooden has 8. Dallas is led by Brandon Bass with 10. Spurs lead by 6 with less than 3 minutes to play in the first half.

Whoa...am I reading the score right? Dallas won 105-97? Wow, that was totally unexpected to me!

Barea really stepped up and gave the team a boost. San Antonio looked dominant in the first quarter, but Dallas came back by chipping away and eventually sealing the deal.
I think Dallas is going to take this series..the Spurs miss Manu down the stretch in games like this.

Dirk nor Jet had their average scoring game and Spurs shot 11 out of 14 beyond the ark and the Mavs still won. It shows how deep the Mavs bench is compared to the Spurs bench. I especially like Bass and Barea. Bass stepped up when Dirk was in foul trouble in the 2nd quarter, and Barea stepped up for the Jet when he was struggling. Also something to note is the great defense by Barea on Parker. Another player that was good was Mavs center Dampier. He had another double-double and had some key tip ins in the fourth quarter. He also played pretty good defense on Duncan down the stretch.

Yeah, Barea is a tremendous defender, particularly when his size is taken into account - he was all over Parker. Bass also has been a nice find for them - and when Dampier produces, they are tough to beat.
