Horrible Experience with DACardworld
Hey guys, just a heads up with something that happened with DACardworld to me today. A little back story, Last Wednesday I placed an order before 4pm (like it says to get it shipped the same day) and it turns out it wasn't shipped same day like it says. I assume it was because I placed the order about only 5-7 min before 4pm. So yesterday I place another order at around 3:40. I figure this would be plenty of time before 4pm. I check the site this morning to see if it has shipped and it has not. So I call them up and ask about the situation. They say they did not receive the order unti 4:07. I tell them that it says on the site "orders placed before 4pm (not received) will be shipped the same day. He goes on to begin calling me a liar (not in so many words) and say that I didn't place it before 4 and even goes as far as to say I am reading the site promis wrong. And it is actually very important that I get this order in 2 days as it is a b-day gift. So he then goes on to tell me that they will ship it over night for $23. I am thinking that they should suck it up and correct their mistake and ship it overnight for free because they are the ones at fault here. Regardless to say I will never deal with DACardworld agin. I will move my business on the Blowout Cards and Big T. I know I haven't convinced anyone to quit dealing with these guys, but I just wanted to get this little rant out of my system before I went to work. PEACE OUT

just to play devil's advocate why did you wait so long to order the product just a couple days before you needed it? And why order it so close to the shipping deadline and not put out the order at noon instead of pushing it so close?
Also if you put in an order for just about anything from most sites there's no guarantee that they will get the order instantly, just like if you send an email to someone, sometimes it would take a few moments, other times it might be 10-20 minutes by the time they get it. So even if you put out the order at 3:40, there is nothing they can do about it until they get it in their system

I sympathize but why did you wait so close to the deadline,It takes time for them to process the order and package it once it's received.

I waited so long because they said that it would ship the same day if you placed your order before 4pm. I held up my end of the deal and they did not. I also had to wait until the b-day person told me exactly what they wanted.

Your credit card probably did not process until after the 4pm deadline that is why the CS guy said it was received after 4pm. Next time order an hour or so before a deadline, that way you ensure enough time between completing your checkout and the actual order going through and being processed.

yea, while you may have finished your part by 4, credit card payments (assuming you used one) will of taken a longer time to process, plus it doesnt take them 5 seconds to package it up, its a process, and you need to give them some time, honestly i dont see niether sides at fault but i think D&A is being given a bad rep when its not there faultHidden Content

I think this isn't a reflection of poor customer service or bad business on DA's part, their hands seem like they were pretty tied with the circumstance. I say instead just think of it as a lesson learned and next time (whether with DA or another sportscard product site) allow an hour+ before the cutoff time

i've had a few problems with DA in the past myself but there usually pretty reliable. i only order from blowout now, there customer service is great and i live so close i always get my order exactly 2 days after i order it. i'll never order anything from Big T but that's a different story for a different time.

My only problem with them is that they take a long time to answer e-mails.
